Thredd partners with AWS

Thredd has been making significant improvements to its infrastructure over the last 18 months and has partnered with AWS to host its production infrastructure.

The Cloud platform will be Thredd's primary site in 2024 with all future development taking place in the Cloud. Upgrading your connection to our Cloud platform will improve resiliency and performance with high-availability infrastructure and enable effective disaster recovery capability

Existing customers who were onboarded with Thredd (formerly Global Processing Services) before October 2022 have been requested to establish a new connection to our Cloud DR platform by the end of 2023. The deadline to establish this new connection has now passed and we have now closed our existing On-Premise disaster recovery site. If you have not yet connected to our Cloud DR platform, please contact your Customer Care Specialist to complete this activity.

If you were onboarded with Thredd after October 2022, you are now hosted in our Cloud platform. Therefore, you do not need to take any further action.
