Jonathan Vaux, our Head of Propositions and Partnerships, spoke to Euromoney on the challenges and opportunities regarding real-time payments.

There are a number of benefits to speeding up the time it takes to process payments, including cash flow management and transparency, however as this article discusses there are also some challenges which need addressing, particularly with regards to fraud.

Another key challenge is the disparity between the real-time payments systems of each country and the need to service global organisations.

Jonathan states that “although there are benefits to swifter money transfer, at this point there are other payment mechanisms, especially card-based options, that are more beneficial as they address both geographic and administrative requirements and are readily deployable.”

At Thredd we know our clients are looking to move funds into the hands of customers, employees and business partners at speed, thereby helping them to manage costs and enhance their users experience.

Whether your organization needs to navigate cross border payments, pay fractional workers, or disperse other funds, we can work with you to develop a program that meets your needs.
