Thredd's Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance is appointed chairman of the Payments Innovation Forum board

Today we are pleased to share that our Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance, Joseph Askham has been appointed chairman of the Payments Innovation Forum (PIF) board.

Joseph’s role at Thredd, where he works closely alongside leading global fintech’s, means he is well positioned to perform this important position in supporting our wider industry.

PIF is a not-for-profit trade association promoting sustainable innovation in payments to best meet the needs of the industry, regulators and consumers. Working closely with and alongside payments organisations to help build confidence in new and alternative payment methods by ensuring that innovation is understood and accommodated by policymakers, consumer bodies and the media. This work in turn helps end users to embrace new technologies and businesses to keep growing and innovating.

Joseph will be working alongside David Walsh, VP Oroginal Content, EMEA at BHN who will be serving as vice chair as well as Diane Brocklebank who is executive director of the PIF board.
